Available Adults & Older Puppies

Sometimes the right dog for your family is a little further along in life.

We occasionally have older puppies and adult Dobermans or Great Danes looking for homes of their own. These may be young dogs we kept to evaluate as show or breeding prospects, or dogs returning to us because their owner’s circumstances changed.

We do not typically place dogs retiring from our breeding program. We feel a loyalty to those dogs, and finishing their breeding career does not ordinarily mean leaving our family. We consider placing them only in very special circumstances, when we believe a particular home would offer something genuinely right for that individual dog.

With an older puppy or adult, we often know more about their personality, energy, habits, and preferences. That helps us discuss the kind of home where they would thrive.

Each dog below has their own story. We’ll explain why they’re available, what we know about them, and what we’re looking for in their next home.
