The Draggin Triple Crown

Three victories. One extraordinary Doberman. A legacy generations in the making.

We want to win.

We want to win Best of Breed at the Doberman Pinscher Club of America National Specialty. We want to win Best of Breed at Westminster. And we want to walk into Westminster’s Best in Show ring with a Doberman born here—and bring home the ultimate honor.

That is the Draggin Triple Crown.

We can provide the dogs. We’re looking for people who share our ambition and want to help give an exceptional contender the campaign, team, and opportunity to go all the way.

Why this matters to us

Our story began long before there was a Triple Crown program.

Growing up, Eric attended dog shows and helped Tina, the breeder who would later sell us our first Dobermans. Those early experiences introduced him to the dogs, the competition, and the people whose dedication shaped his love for the breed.

Years later, those relationships became part of our own breeding story.

Draggin—CH Mariah’s Red Draggin v Koepsel—became our first champion and our foundation sire. Diamond became our foundation bitch. Our kennel’s first litter, from Diamond bred to Hero, produced Picasso.

At the time, we could not have known how those dogs would connect to a future national winner.

Picasso became the grandmother of Boss, Sully’s sire. Draggin and Torq produced Mara, Sully’s dam. Rico, Torq’s brother, also appears on Sully’s sire’s side.

Our foundation dogs helped shape both sides of his pedigree.

Sully showed us what was possible

Sully—GCHP Mariah’s Absence of Malice Mi Casa—was co-bred by Draggin Dobermans & Great Danes and Mariah Dobermans, with Mark Bigham as his primary owner.

His DPCA National Specialty victory and Westminster Best of Opposite Sex achievement became milestones in a family story that reaches back to our earliest dogs.

Those accomplishments belong to the breeders, owners, handlers, and entire team who helped him achieve them. We are proud of our contribution to that history.

And we want to build on it.

Our next ambition is personal: to breed and whelp a Doberman here, watch that puppy grow, and help assemble the team that gives it a real opportunity to compete at the highest level.

To follow the journey from the whelping box to the national stage.

The three crowns

The National Crown
Best of Breed at the DPCA National Specialty.

The Westminster Crown
Best of Breed at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show.

The Ultimate Crown
Best in Show at Westminster.

Each victory would be a major achievement for our program. Our ultimate ambition is one Draggin-bred, Draggin-whelped Doberman earning all three.

We’re looking for people who want to win

An exceptional dog is the beginning. Taking that dog to the highest level requires professional handling, conditioning, travel, thoughtful campaign decisions, and people willing to commit to the pursuit.

That is where the right partnership can change what is possible.

We’re looking for owners and partners who love competition. People who want to follow their dog’s development, stand ringside, celebrate the breakthroughs, and stay committed through the setbacks.

People who understand the excitement of building something extraordinary—and want their own place in its story.

Draggin brings the breeding program, the dogs, and the commitment to their development. Our partners help provide the resources to build and sustain a serious campaign. Together, we assemble the team around the contender.

No breeder can promise a Westminster winner. What we can offer is a shared ambition, a carefully selected prospect, and a professionally managed pursuit with defined responsibilities and a transparent budget.
